Description

Beginning Theology, an Introduction for Students, is designed for first time theology students studying at all levels. It explains the structure of the university, the nature of different degrees and the reasons that their lecturers and tutors can be so fussy about things that seem fairly insignificant at first glance; all in a way that the first-time student or student returning to the university system after a long time can easily understand. This book: Unpacks what uni life is like, how and when to contact your lecturers and tutors, and lots of other things you need to know about studying at a university. Answers some common questions that new students are often afraid to ask. Dispels many of the myths and assumptions about studying theology at university level. Explains the most common forms of assessments used in theology courses. Offers a brief but comprehensible guide to the Turabian/Chicago 16 referencing method. This book helps to take some of the uncertainty out of university life, and makes studying Theology at tertiary level an extremely rewarding experience.
